Rule 26 of the General Rules of Practice for the Superior and District Courts (link below) provides the guidelines on securing time free from the urgent demands of professional responsibility. Referred to as a Designation of Secured Leave, attorneys file them with several judicial officials in any jurisdiction in which they regularly conduct business.

You may submit your Secured Leave to the Forsyth County Clerk of Court’s office three (3) ways:

Fill out the Secured Leave Form, print, sign and:
